MP - H2 Power

From planning and feasibility to the implementation of of Hydrogen Infrastructure Projects. Merchant Ports are on hand to provide specialist skills and services .

Hydrogen may offer a solution to decarbonise a range of sectors – including long-haul transport, chemicals and iron and steel – where it is currently difficult to meaningfully reduce emissions.

The technology already exists to enable hydrogen to be produced, stored and moved. A wide variety of fuels are able to produce hydrogen, including renewables, nuclear, natural gas, coal and oil. It can be transported as a gas by pipelines or in liquid form by ships, much like liquefied natural gas (LNG). It can be transformed into electricity and methane to power homes and feed industry, and into fuels for cars, trucks, ships and planes.

Mumbai

Our network in India are posed to welcome foreign investment into the emerging low carbon economy of this key high growth industrial nation.

The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) is India’s largest container handling port in India. JNPT is located east of Mumbai in Navi Mumbai’s Raigad district.

The port’s hinterland connectivity by rail and road will soon be strengthened by ongoing projects, such as the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), the Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP), and widening port-to-road connectivity. Upon completion, DFC will increase the existing train capacity of 27 to 100 trains per day.

JNPT is connected to 34 container freight stations (CFS) and 47 inland container depots (ICDs) across the country.

JNPT accounts for more than half of India’s total container volume handled at 12 public ports and around 40 percent of the country’s overall containerized ocean trade.

For over two decades, Special Economic Zones have contributed to the rebuilding of the industry in many regions of Poland. Now their effects reach further.  The Polish Investment Zone was established to enable entrepreneurs to develop their business on preferential terms, not only in the SEZ.   The aims of the IDA is to stimulate growth by offering Polish companies instruments supporting innovation, such as grants within the Open Innovation Network, supporting technology transfer to companies from the SME sector.
